Peju Province Winery

On Saturday, April 21 members made their way to Peju Winery on a beautiful spring evening in Napa Valley for a VIP Tasting and dinner.
Our evening began with a tasting of several Peju wines including Peju 2016 Sauvignon Blanc, 2016 Reisling, 2015 Napa Cabernet Sauvignon and 2015 50/50, a red blend of Merlot and Cabernet. Artisan cheeses and charcuterie were served during the tasting.
Dinner followed in the beautiful Crown Room that is adorned with large stained glass windows that provided a Fantastic setting for our evening. Dinner began with a Little Gem Salad with Radish, Pecans, Point Reyes Blue Cheese and Champagne Vinaigrette, paired with Peju 2016 Chardonnay. Our entree was served family style and included Grilled Niman Ranch Skirt Steak with Cabernet Reduction; Herb Crusted Roasted Mary’s Chicken with Chimichurri and sides of Wild Mushroom & Spring Pea Risotto and Roasted Garden Vegetables, paired with Peju 2014 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. And finally for dessert Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with Strawberries and Carmel paired with Peju Delicious Zinfandel Port.
